Sometimes the main excuse for not having a dog is the dirt, the hair and the dust that animals can bring in the houses. Although it is very important a careful hygiene of our pets, the swiss university of Uppsala affirms that having a dog while childhood reduces the risk of developing an asthma and some other respiratory diseases.
It seems, that having contact with a dog at an early age helps the childs imune system by making it stronger and more prepared to face potential risks on the hair of dogs, and it even helps to deal with other typical allergenic factors of our best friends.
So now that there are no excuses, go by the nearest animal shelter and choose a dog for your kids. You’ll never regret.
