For example, whats the perfect name for your dog?<\/strong> Are there better or worse names for our pet? That is to say, is it preferable to choose a name that we believe that it will define our dog, even if it\u2019s complicated to write and to remember or perhaps the best decision is a short and powerful name that can be recognizable at any time?<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, for a moment we thought of keeping the name as it was\u2026 But something deep inside told us that the choice of that name, accompanying his greatness and corpulence and, in addition, with that first stretch of his so sad beginning of life, were marking him in some way. And in a negative sense.<\/p>\n

We weren\u2019t very excited either about our kids calling \u201cNarco\u201d to a loved one<\/strong>, and that one day when they\u2019d discover the meaning of the name, they\u2019d start to associate the connotations of such a pernicious concept with a dog as adorable as ours.<\/p>\n

What we want to say is that we were not very happy with the name \u201cNarco\u201d<\/strong>. In case you haven\u2019t noticed yet.<\/p>\n

So we changed his name. We\u2019ve always liked \u201cOtto\u201d, and so it has been<\/strong>, as you can see in his customized collar.<\/p>\n

How to choose dog names<\/h2>\n

At least not in the real life, not that we know. In his literature life at least two are known. One of them is Huan<\/em>, who can be seen in the Middle Earth of The Lord of the Rings. <\/em>The other one is Rover,<\/em> the main character in the story called Roverandom<\/em>\u2026 You can see now, these are both examples of weird names for dogs. And however, paradoxically, nowadays there are many more dogs that are named after Frodo, Hobbit, Saruman, Legolas<\/em> or even Gollum.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

We could make a similar list of dog names with Game of Thrones<\/em> main characters, or even with football player names, singers, or even youtubers!…<\/p>\n

The matter of choosing a name, is distributed by neighborhoods. By geographical areas, if you prefer. In general, and by logic, the names of dogs in English are very common in the whole world.<\/strong> But for example, in Spain, the names Luna, Laika <\/em>or Toby<\/em> are as classic as current.<\/strong> Nonetheless, if you limit the statistics to places like Euskadi, you will find mythical and successful Basque dog names such as Beltza, Txuri, Bizkor<\/em> or Lagun.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Your dog is a god for you<\/h2>\n

That doesn\u2019t mean necessarily that he needs to have a \u201cdivine\u201d name. And, however, the list of names of gods is enormous.<\/strong> Thor<\/em> is one of the most recurrent.
